On 22nd February 2021 Honorable Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Shri Vinod Chamoli did Bhoomi Pujan and laid the foundation stone of the proposed water scheme at Lakshman Garhi - Mehuwala, Dehradun. The World Bank-supported UWSP is being implemented by the Uttarakhand Pey Jal Nigam (UJN). On this occasion the ward member Mrs. Usha Chauhan, GM-UJN Mr. Sitaram, Project Incharge / AE Mr. Jeetmani Belwal, AAE Mr. Anurag Agarwal, DRES / CDS Mr. K.S.Chauhan and DRES / CM Mr. Bijalwan were also present.
